Last Supper in London

Woah! Time flies and it's my last night in London!

Morning started with the usual, and then the mess starts... Missed the musical thingy in Hyde Park, and got to do some last min shopping... But I enjoyed chilling and checking out the peeps over at Hyde Park. Nice weather and nice "scenary" hoho

At night, went to this nearby pub for my last supper with my sis. Food was nice, beer was like water (one of the cheaper beer... I'm poor :P)

5 weeks of London, here are some of my thoughts:

  1. 5 happy n neutral weeks.
  2. Didn't really met anybody, except for Zack from Nottinghamshire
  3. English ppl are always itchy.
  4. London's a multracial country - much more multi than Malaysia...
  5. London's food = exp. London's accom = exp. London sucks!
  6. Working in London = $$$. Eating in London = Yummy. London roxx!
  7. London's white chicks are nice; tho chinese/indians are better...
  8. Public transport here roxx (only if minus the fees)
  9. The parks here are huge and spacious... But if we were to build a park in the middle of KL, then KLCC's jagung (maize) would need to be chopped down...
  10. English ppl are lazy and rude
  11. English ppl are rude and lazy
  12. English ppl are not friendly

OK closing: I'll be back!

Englishman & me

Entering my 5th and last week of my London tour, finally I met a nice Englishman today (on let me set this straight - I'm not gay lol). He bumped into me in National Gallery Museum, and he was friendly and we had a nice chat. Offered to buy me a cup of coffee and we went to the nearest coffeehouse.

Halfway in, some dude was arrested for stealing... No clue, but police handcuffed him in front of my eyes... Freakin cool stuff!

We chat in the coffeehouse, and he sai, why not we visit the Parliament, they are still open? Well, why not? And Parliament, here we come!

Was bag/body searched (bag search, once; body search, woah! 2-3 times... ), and we hang out there till around 10.45pm (the debate between govn and the opposition party was over, but some Petition was going on when we left). He suggested to go to Buckingham Palace for me to catch a tube and a bus for him, but while we were there, he wanted to sit... WTF sit with you at 11.15P-freakin-M?

Fine, was just trying to be polite, there, n I sat with you and you started to touch me? Damn sometimes I think we asians are too vunerable... Or maybe it's just me... Woah!

Here are some recap of the evening:
1. He guessed my country (Malaysia) and my age (22?? but.. near tho) within a min after we chat... Shocking but impressive...
2. We met in National Gallery Museum at 7.30PM (estimate)
3. He has a wife and 2 sons, but weekdays he is living alone in London - Wife = countryside
4. He looks 50ish/60ish
5. He offered to buy me a drink (didn't say that verbally, but I didn't offer to pay for the coffee l- 1.79 pounds lol)
6. Oh he is John something... Will the John something please stand up?
7. He claimed that he is a senior lecturer - bull my smelly shit! I think you are lying now...
8. Lived in NZ for 2 years - wife a NZ chick
9. A son in France, another son in... some forgotten land (OK I made that up lol)...
10. He was a gentleman... He opened the doors for me and... "Let me know if you are not comfortable" "Err... "; "If you say stop, I'll stop" "Err... Yeah please stop..."; "It's really wonderful meeting you"; "You can stay over at my house since it's already late"... He also said something about won't rape me lol...; "So I guess we will not be meeting up again". Oh how sweet...
11. Coffeehouse -> guy arrested (for stealing.... ) -> Parliament -> Buckingham Palace's Park -> Tube
12. I gave him my business card... Please don't call me...

OK to Mr. John who just googled me and reading this today, thanks for the coffee, I appreciate it, but I don't appreciate you being a gentleman. Sorry if I gave you some wrong signals, but I don't feel comfortable that you kept hugging me (or tried) after I said No... And yes, it's not KOOL to be bisexual... Again, I'm straight, PURE straight. Yes you heard me right. We won't be meeting anymore (and I hope I won't cross path with you), but if you would like to be friends, then sure. But keep a distance.

Have a great nightmare!
